Hey, I’m Drew. I just wanted to take a minute and introduce you to my new project, I’m calling it “a blank slate.” Let me quickly go over what it is and what it’s about. So I’ve been using twitter for the last, I wanna say, about a year. When I first started using it, I really wasn’t sure how to best, take advantage of it, really. How to make it a resource and for it to be beneficial, and something that was worth investing my time and energy into. I, basically, started following anyone that looked interesting or anyone that had common interests or you know anyone who met those criteria. I gradually discovered the people whose tweets I most enjoyed reading, were those who’d become a valuable resource to me. It seemed they were either sharing content that I thought was valuable or they themselves were interesting and had a interesting perspective on the world. Some are witty, and it’s become an enjoyable experience to follow along with their life, and their friends, and all of that. So I’ve tried to model myself and how I use twitter against those qualifiers. But what stood out to me was the people who I enjoyed following, would typically have a corresponding blog that was, basically, a longer form of what they already had represented in shorter form on twitter. I began wondering how I could also contribute to that conversation, how I could become an additional resource to all these amazing people. So I took the time to research and figure out how to do just that. I’ve spent the last, I wanna say, the last couple months figuring that out, and in the process I began developing what has become “a blank slate.” I’m calling it “a blank slate” because as I sought inspiration, it was the way I wanted to represent me and my ideas. I wanted to step away from all the noise and distractions and just put them aside and make the content central. “ablankslate,” is the platform on which I hope to build and dream, to share with you my thoughts and ideas, to explain my perspective on the world, and hopefully become a resource to others. So I’m excited to be able to write compelling content and to put forth the time and energy to bring it together. I’m hoping you’re excited to read it. I’m hoping you get a chance to come along with me on this journey. If you want to contact me or get in touch as I go about this process, you can follow me on twitter. If you’ve never seen it, my twitter is @dtufano. And so you can follow along in short form on twitter, and soon in long form here on my blog. I’ll talk to you soon…
